About Grommet
Grommet may have skipped his photo shoot, but it had nothing to do with shyness. He was busy sunbathing, brushing up on his bush-sniffing, and perfecting his dramatic grass rolls — the sort of vital tiny prince business only he understands. Meeting Grommet in person is the real treat, since photos don’t capture his true spark. Though petite at just 7 pounds and about 1-2 years old, he makes a huge impression. This Italian Greyhound-Rat Terrier mix surprises everyone with his joyful energy, skinny legs, and those independent-minded curly ears. Grommet is all about being near people: trailing after you from room to room, sneaking around for impromptu games, or settling onto your lap like it’s his personal throne. His morning routine kicks off with playful stretches, a short walk, and breakfast, which he’ll take on his own or hand-fed if you’re willing. He alternates between bursts of play and laptime snoozes, thriving whenever someone is ready to join his antics. In the evening, he’s happy to wind down after another stroll and dinner, then nestles into his crate and dreams of tomorrow’s adventures. This little “Velcro dog” will follow you everywhere, always ready with a lick and eager for affection. Grommet gets along with most dogs and children, and he’s crate trained as well as house trained when kept on a routine. His mischievous side is mild — he’s too busy loving life. For anyone searching for an affectionate, playful, and endlessly joyful companion, Grommet’s personality delivers on all fronts. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
