He's currently located in Kennesaw, GA, but transport can be arranged for the perfect home. Olaf absolutely adores his people and wants nothing more than to be your loyal sidekick. He's the definition of a Velcro Aussie and would thrive with someone patient, experienced, and willing to help him continue building confidence while lowering his anxiety levels. About Olaf House and potty trained Sleeps through the night Super smart and learns routines quickly Knows sit, shake/high five/fist bump with both paws, “look at me,” and has good recall Affectionate and loving once he trusts you Walks nicely on leash and is non-reactive outside the home Loves enrichment, puzzles, toys, sniff walks, and fenced adventures Enjoys car rides Can entertain himself with toys and chews Active and playful, but settles nicely when tired Olaf's favorite things Air vents and cool floors Tennis balls and fetch Flirt poles and jumping games Plush toys (especially removing squeakers ) Yak chews, cod skin, yogurt, squeeze cheese, pup cups, and dog ice cream Belly rubs, chin scratches, and affection Sniffspots and exploring outdoors Olaf does need an experienced, patient home Olaf has a very strong herding/prey drive! He would do best as an only dog in the home. Young children Cats He needs slow decompression time and someone who understands anxious/herding breeds. Olaf can become reactive or snippy when pressured into situations he dislikes, such as: • Nail trims/grooming • Vet visits • Having high-value items taken away So TAKING it slow and building trust with him is very important.
