Mia is a 2-year-old English Setter with a truly endearing personality and an adventurous spirit. After starting her journey in a Texas shelter, sheās found new confidence in a calm foster home, where her love for exploring outdoors shines. Mia is classic young field Setterāmedium-to-high energy, always ready for a walk or an afternoon sniffing around the yard. Sheās independent but checks in with her people, trotting back inside after her outdoor adventures just to make sure everyoneās accounted for. Once she feels secure, her affectionate side takes over, and sheās genuinely loving. Social with other dogs, Mia excels with her two setter foster siblings and does especially well in the company of at least one other confident dog. She trusts routine, settles peacefully in her crate overnight, and understands good house manners. While she loves activity, Mia prefers a calm, quiet homeāadults or older kids, pleaseāand truly thrives in a peaceful environment. She hasnāt been tested with cats. Mia is best suited for someone active but mellow, with a securely fenced yard (minimum 6 feet, solid wood fencing required). She loves running and playful bug-hunting, but also adores curling up for post-play snuggles on the couch.
