About Roe
Meet Roe! Roe is about five months old and brings a lot of spark and affection to every room she enters. She's a black and white Basenji mix with a heart as big as her personality and a playful streak that keeps things interesting. She adores people, gets along easily with other dogs, and is always ready for a game or a cuddle. Roe is also great with children and makes a reliable family companion. While her foster reports she does well with cats, there aren’t any around currently to know for certain. Roe is quick to learn and eager for your attention—she's already mastered "sit," is working on "stay," and is learning "come." She’s especially treat-motivated, making training straightforward. Roe is dog door trained, reliably uses her kennel for quiet time and sleeping, and adapts her play style to other dogs’ energy levels—gentle with shy ones, rowdy with high-energy friends. She’ll fit right into an active home ready to keep up with her and provide plenty of adventures, ongoing training, and love. She's spayed, microchipped, and caught up on vaccinations. Roe will come home with essentials: collar, leash, harness, bowls, bedding, and toys. Her foster mom can provide a kennel to borrow the first couple of weeks if you need it. Roe’s ready for a new chapter with a family who will appreciate her smarts, affection, and joyful energy. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
