RED OWNER TO OWNER ADOPTION ASSISTANCE. TIMELINE URGENT. SHARE IF YOU CARE! PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES AND APPLICATIONS FOR ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ - Bear is an owner to owner adoption placement to a qualified match. RED has not evaluated this dog and information is provided by the caregiver/owners. Bear’s owner is having to move across the country, to an area that likely isn’t suitable for Bear. She doesn't want to get there an have no options or have to make a hard choice, so she is proactively looking to rehome her dog before she has to move. Where she is going the shelters are not as kind or safe either, and would hate for her beloved companion ending up in one of those because she's in a situation out of her control. Here is what she says about Bear, who is 2.5 years old (born in October) and absolutely loves cuddles and being close to her humans. She is just under 40 lbs. Since moving to Washington State, she has become especially people-oriented and thrives on human companionship. She does well with other dogs, and is especially fond of children, but her favorite place is right by your side. Fireworks and thunder makes her most anxious and sometimes she may need a little extra TLC to make her feel at ease during heavy times. Bear is a smart and loving Catahoula, Black Mouth Cur, and Hound mix. Because of her strong herding and working instincts, she has not been introduced to livestock, cats or other small animals. Despite this, she is incredibly intelligent and already knows several commands including sit, lay down, be nice, leave it, shake, jump, and spin. She is truly a sweet girl with a big heart and would make a loyal, affectionate companion for the right home.
