About Clint
Clint lives up to his heroic name. At three years old, this Catahoula/Pit mix is strong, athletic, and built for adventure. He’s a high-energy dog who thrives with active adults or families with older kids (12+) who need a buddy on hikes and outdoor excursions. Clint is agile and playful, especially with confident and social dogs—he does best after proper introductions. Patience and consistency matter for Clint because he’s deaf with some visual impairment, but that hasn’t slowed his learning: he already understands sign language commands and is very food-motivated, which makes training engaging and effective. It sometimes takes him a little while to warm up to new people, but his trust leads to real affection and goofy moments—he’s prone to rolling over for a good belly rub. House and crate trained, Clint has also lived around cats without showing a strong prey drive, though supervision is wise. He bonds deeply with his humans, offering loyalty and sticking close, though he can be vocal since he can’t hear himself or receive signals from far away. Clint is current on vaccinations, neutered, and ready to be someone’s loyal new teammate. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
