About Clint

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Clint! Clint is a hero in his own right, named after the legendary Hawkeye himself. He is a 3-year-old Catahoula/Pit mix who is athletic, handsome, and always ready for his next mission. Clint is a high-energy companion who would thrive with active adults or families with kids over 12, especially those who love hikes, adventures, and keeping life exciting. True to his Hawkeye spirit, Clint is agile, strong, and absolutely loves to play, particularly with confident, social, and easygoing dog friends after proper introductions. Clint is both deaf and visually impaired, so patience and consistency are key to his happy life. The good news? This intelligent pup knows basic commands using sign language and is very food-motivated, making his continued training a fun and rewarding experience. Although he may need a little time to warm up, once he trusts you, Clint becomes incredibly friendly and affectionate, often rolling over to show his tummy as a sign of true friendship. He is housetrained, crate trained, and has been around cats without showing a strong prey drive. Clint forms deep bonds with his people and will stick by your side just like a true Avenger. Due to his deafness, Clint can be vocal—he can’t hear himself, and it can be difficult to give him signs when he’s at a distance. Overall, he is a very sweet and playful boy, ready to share both loyalty and love with his new forever family. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
