Dog's Name: Buddy (BUD0526SOPMN) Estimated Breed: Border Terrier mix Approximate Age: 4 years Approximate Weight: 8 lbs Currently Living at: Coming Soon Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Buddy's story started when he was found terrified and alone on the side of a busy highway in Georgia, unsure where to go or who to trust. Sadly, no one ever came to claim him at the shelter. But despite everything he's been through, Buddy has remained nothing but sweet, loving, and hopeful for a brighter future. This precious little 8 pound Terrier mix is the definition of a lap dog. Buddy absolutely loves being held and is happiest when he's curled up safely in someone's arm. After being abandoned, it's easy to understand why he treasures feeling safe and cherished. Buddy gets along well with other dogs and has an easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around. All Buddy wants now is a forever family who will never leave him behind again. So, why not consider opening your heart and home to this deserving little fella. Apply today and meet your new best buddy! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
