Dog's Name: Maya (MAY0526ALAFS) Estimated Breed: Rat Terrier / Pointer mix Approximate Age: 2 years Approximate Weight: 22 lbs Currently Living at: Coming Soon Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Maya — a small sweetheart who is waiting for her forever family At just 22 pounds, this beautiful young girl is the perfect petite size for cuddling on the couch, joining you for walks, or simply being your loyal little shadow. Maya can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness you'll quickly see her true personality shine. Once she feels safe, her sweet, submissive nature will blossom, making her an easy girl to love. Maya's favorite things are belly rubs and other dogs! She enjoys canine companionship and would likely thrive in a home with a friendly doggy buddy to help her continue building confidence. Maya is a special little gem who is searching for a caring family that will give her the love, security, and patience she deserves. Could you be the one to show Maya what forever truly means? Apply today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
