Dog's Name: Mickey (MIC0526ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Beagle mix Approximate Age: 1 year Approximate Weight: 17 lbs Currently Living at: Coming Soon Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Mickey — the little Beagle mix with the biggest heart! At just 17 lbs, Mickey is the perfect compact companion for anyone looking for a small dog to share life's adventures (and the couch!). This adorable young boy has a super sweet personality that makes him easy to love from the very first tail wag. Mickey has a low to medium energy level, meaning he enjoys playtime and walks, but he's equally happy to relax and soak up affection. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love a canine buddy, though he'd also be perfectly content being your one-and-only spoiled sidekick. With his lovable nature and perfect pint-sized build, Mickey is ready to bring joy, companionship, and plenty of cuddles to a forever family of his own. All he's missing is someone to give him the love and security he deserves. Could that be you? Apply today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
