About Jon Paul

Jon Paul (JP) ended up with us when his previous owner could no longer care for him. He’s about 10 years old and weighs around 17 lbs. This small terrier mix shows real affection and loyalty. JP has solid house manners—he’s house trained, behaves well indoors, and does fine on a leash. He will tolerate a crate if needed.  JP gets along with other dogs and is also good with kids, so he could fit into a variety of homes. He’d be happiest somewhere with people around most of the time—he has a bit of separation anxiety and doesn’t like to be alone for long stretches. His health is stable for a senior; he’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has a benign old man bump that poses no concern. His teeth are in good shape but like most seniors, he may need a dental in the coming years. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with experience in pet life, Jon Paul’s ready for a new chapter.
