About Monkey
Monkey is a young hound/husky mix who just made his way from an overcrowded North Carolina shelter to safety in New Jersey. At about five months old, heās still figuring things out, but his sweet nature is already clear. Monkey gravitates toward people and enjoys both playtime and cuddles. Heās happiest exploring, rolling around with toys, or just settling in for a nap by your side. Social and gentle, he gets along with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a good fit for families with other pets or children. Monkey isnāt house trained yet, so continued patience and basic training will be important. Like any puppy, heāll need consistent guidance, socialization, and a family willing to invest time as he matures. Heās expected to be medium-sized with a short coat, and his vaccinations are current with veterinary health checks already done. Families interested in Monkey should be ready for all things puppyāenergy, learning, and affection. Visits require all household members and any current dogs for a meet and greet before adoption. Same day adoptions are not available. Monkey is in Paramus, NJ and waiting for a home thatās ready to help him grow up right. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
