About Joshua
Joshua is a five-month-old hound mix who recently left the chaos of a packed North Carolina shelter behind. He’s now safe in Paramus, NJ, waiting for a family of his own. Short-coated and soft in apricot and fawn, Joshua is the kind of puppy who cozies up for snuggles one minute and bounds after toys the next. He soaks up human attention and already shows a gentle streak in his young personality. He loves exploring, following people, and doing just about anything that involves being close to you. He’ll need plenty of continued guidance—basic training, socialization, and all the little lessons puppies require. Joshua does well with other dogs, cats, and children. He’s not yet house trained, so expect some patience and cleanup early on. He’s been vaccinated, dewormed, and checked by a vet, but he is not neutered yet. Joshua will likely grow into a classic medium-sized hound mix. His Sagittarius sun sign hints at a life full of curiosity and adventure—a puppy always ready for the next outing or nap on the couch. Ready to meet him in person? He’ll be waiting at the next adoption event. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
