About Keys

Meet The Piano Band: Sonata, Jazz, Keys, Steinway, Baldwin & Ragtime A litter that definitely plays by their own sheet music. Sonata, the mama of this little musical ensemble, came in as a stray, so much of her story remains a mystery. What we do know is that she's gentle, friendly, and enjoys pets and attention—though right now she's still very focused on raising her five busy babies. Once her mom duties are behind her and she can finally relax, we think her softer, affectionate side will shine even brighter. Her kittens — Jazz, Keys, Steinway, Baldwin, and Ragtime — are playful, curious, and full of personality. They love interacting with their foster, climbing into the middle of whatever's happening, and supervising every household task like tiny furry managers. They're independent little souls who are still learning that snuggles and handling can be pretty nice too. Keys and Jazz are the most outgoing of the bunch and especially enjoy attention and pets. Baldwin is the quieter member of the band, happiest when snacks and naps are involved. Steinway and Keys are often found playing together, but truly this whole group gets along beautifully and would do well adopted in any pairing. This crew is endlessly entertaining to watch — tumbling, bouncing, and rolling around together like fuzzy little dice in perfect rhythm. They'll thrive with adopters who appreciate playful, spirited kittens and are willing to give them a little time to continue building confidence and trust. Because they're still getting comfortable with lots of handling, they may do best in homes with older, respectful children. Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only. All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
