About Trick Or Treat

From Left Behind to Looking Forward We're not tricking you; this handsome feline is a real treat. Trick-or-Treat likely started life as someone's pet; maybe as a temporarily treasured one. He came from an area known for apartment dwelling college students who move in and out on a regular basis, sometimes leaving a pet behind when they are longer convenient. Trick-or-Treat found refuge in a managed feral cat colony. While the colony's caregiver was unsure at first whether or not this handsome fellow would acclimate to indoor living and be adoptable, once he was trapped, his friendly nature quickly proved he belonged indoors. Now, he looks at the world with wide, hopeful eyes, eagerly dreaming about his next big adventure: finding a forever home. Ultimate Attention Seeker: If you are looking for a cat who makes his affection known, Trick-or-Treat is your man. Instant Purrs: His purr motor starts running the second you look his way. The "Roll & Stroll": He loves to flop onto his back and roll around to show off and demand pets. Shadow Cat: He thrives on human connection and always wants to be where the action is. Chatty Charlie: Trick-or-Treat is quick to call you out when he wants your attention. Badge of Honor: His ear tip is a reminder of his time spent navigating the outdoor world and living in a colony. Friends & Family Compatibility: He was initially unsure of the resident pets in his foster home. However, with patient, proper introductions, he warmed up beautifully! He can likely share his space with furry buddies. He has not met young kids yet and will likely do best with older children who understand boundaries and respect that he is ultimataly "his own man." All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
