Spot - Working Cat Seeking Barn Placement Meet Spot Can Gogh, a 4-year-old independent guy looking for the right working cat home. Spot prefers life outdoors and would thrive in a barn, stable, warehouse, or similar environment where he can have space to roam while helping keep rodents away. Spot has mild asthma that is successfully managed with medication, and he handles his routine well. He's otherwise healthy, active, and happiest when he has fresh air and room to explore. When Spot came into our care, he had a wound of unknown origin. Because of this, he will need to remain quarantined and securely confined during his acclimation period for the first several months in his new placement. This adjustment time is essential not only for his safety and health, but also to help him learn where home is before being given supervised outdoor access. Spot is not a traditional house cat and would thrive with someone experienced in working cat or barn cat placements who understands the importance of a slow transition process. With patience and proper setup, Spot will make an excellent property companion and dedicated rodent patrol officer.
