Trigger may start out a little cautious, but underneath that shy exterior is a sweet and gentle boy who truly wants to trust. Once he warms up, Trigger becomes affectionate, curious, and happy to be close to his people. He enjoys quiet cuddle time, relaxing with his foster siblings, and following the lead of the other dogs around him. Trigger came to rescue from a hoarding case with over 30 chihuahuas, and he is still learning that new experiences do not have to be scary. He will need a patient family committed to continuing his confidence-building journey with kindness and consistency. Trigger loves other dogs and would do best in a home with a friendly fur sibling who can help him feel secure and teach him all about being part of a family. Watching Trigger come out of his shell is incredibly rewarding, and with the right home, this sweet boy is sure to continue growing into a wonderful companion. He was born in May 2024 and is being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
