Meet Owen! Owen is an adorable 12-year-old male long haired Chihuahua mix who is blind and deaf, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying life. Owen does have a 2/6 heart murmur, that does not require any treatment. It is just checked at his yearly vet exams. Owen has accidents when it comes to pottying, so use of a belly band would be appropriate, when inside. He’s gentle, loving, and hoping to find a forever home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by kindness and care. Because of his impairments, he can be a little skittish at times and does best with a calm, patient approach. Senior dogs like Owen are truly special—full of gratitude, wisdom, and so much love to give.
