Meet Lysander! Lysander is a playful and curious 11 month-old (date of birth 6-14-2025) Chihuahua mix little guy. He loves to be outside in the sunshine playing with other dogs. Dogs his own size or slightly bigger would be best so as to avoid injury because he is so small. Lysander is crate trained and working on house training. He has learned to signal by whining to go outside. He loves to nest under the covers at night when sleeping with his favorite person. Sometimes he’ll sleep through the night. Overall, supervision is still needed. He has been neutered and is current with all his vaccines. Lysander is loving and likes touches and pets, but he still asserts his independence, occasionally, by selecting his own place on the couch. However, most times, he’ll curl right up with you. Lysander is a gentle, sometimes shy little guy. Loudness or quick movements can make him leery, so a somewhat calm environment would be good. He would do better in a home with older children. He would also be fine as the only pup in the home or as an addition to a current pack. He also gets a long with cats. Lysander is a delightful little soul. He would make a great companion for anyone looking for a "little" road traveler.
