About Lysander
Lysander is a bright, playful 11-month-old Chihuahua mix with a strong sense of curiosity. He enjoys soaking up the sun and romping with other dogs, especially those similar in size or a touch larger, as his tiny frame needs a bit of care around bigger pups. Crate trained and making steady progress on house training, Lysander will whine when he needs to go outside and loves burrowing under covers at night. While he might occasionally choose his own cozy spot, he’s usually happy to snuggle close to his favorite person. A gentle, sometimes shy character, Lysander does best in calmer households and is happiest with older kids who understand a small dog's boundaries. He’s perfectly happy as a solo companion or joining an existing pack, and he gets along fine with cats as well. Supervising him is still necessary as he continues to learn, but his affectionate nature and independence make him a unique, lovable friend—ideal for anyone seeking a petite travel buddy who appreciates both adventure and a quiet cuddle.
