About Twilight
Meet Twilight! Twilight is a charming basset hound mix who lost her home because of major flooding in Kerrville. Currently living with her bonded companion Ladybug in a foster home, Twilight is about 3 years old and weighs around 27 lbs. The pair has settled in quickly, showing themselves to be easygoing and incredibly sweet houseguests. Their foster says they’re reliably potty trained, rarely bark, and do great uncrated when left alone. Twilight and Ladybug have proven to be friendly, relaxed, and just plain enjoyable to have around the house. Twilight and Ladybug should be adopted as a bonded pair—their connection is tight and it’s clear they thrive together. Ladybug is heartworm positive, but the rescue will continue to cover all costs for her treatment after adoption, and they’re happy to explain their heartworm care process if you have questions. Both dogs are otherwise in good health and genuinely happy despite all they’ve been through. Their resilience is obvious, and they’re eager for a new home where they can finally settle in for good.
