Landon is around 2 years old shepherd mix -shy boy who takes his time getting comfortable. He prefers to warm up on his own . When he’s ready, he’ll come to you, and once he knows you, he will love you with his whole heart. That’s when you’ll discover just how sweet he truly is. He does well with other dogs, though slow, thoughtful introductions are important. Landon is fully house-trained and uses the doggie door like a pro. He can be left indoors on his own or with other dogs without needing a crate—though he absolutely loves his crate. It’s his safe, cozy space. Landon enjoys being outside, especially sitting under the trees watching (and occasionally chasing) squirrels. He could happily do this for hours. He’s settled beautifully into our routine and often does things before he’s even asked. At dinnertime, he knows exactly what to do—he goes straight to his crate, where he’s fed. In the mornings before work, he also willingly goes into his crate for a short while. He thrives on routine and consistency. We’re currently helping him get more comfortable with having a collar nearby, and he’s making great progress. With time, patience, and trust, he’ll be ready for longer walks. And don’t let those little legs fool you—Landon is fast! Landon would do best in a calm, patient home that understands shy dogs and is willing to let him blossom at his own pace.
