Meet Norman — part shepherd, part shadow, part professional ear-scratch enthusiast 🖤🐾 Norman (or “Normie” to his foster mom and dad) is the definition of a gentle soul. Sweet, affectionate, and a little shy at first, this handsome lad has mastered the art of staying exactly one arm’s length away at all times… you know, just in case ear massages, belly rubs, or head scratches suddenly become available. His favorite hobby? Being adored. 🥹 When it comes to playtime, Norman is still trying to figure out why humans throw a ball and expect everyone to get excited about it. Chase him around the yard instead? Now that’s entertainment. This speedy boy loves zooming around outside and showing off his surprisingly fast moves. He’s also quickly become a big fan of neighborhood walks and stopping to sniff every blade of grass along the way. 🌿 Norman has been wonderfully respectful with his foster brother (a Chihuahua mix) and would likely do well with other dogs given a proper introduction. He’s polite, gentle, and very much a “live and let live” kind of guy. 🐶 At bedtime, Norman quietly sleeps in his crate all night without a peep — although if he had his way, he’d probably be curled up nearby making sure his humans never feel lonely. ❤️ Norman’s previous owner sadly passed away, so much of his past is a mystery, but one thing is crystal clear: he came from a home where he was deeply loved. He is potty trained, well-mannered, and has the calm, comforting presence of a dog who knows how to be someone’s best friend.
