About Oliver~ Graduated From Pawsinprison.
Say hello to Oliver, a black, clever mix of Border Collie and German Shepherd who just completed the Paws-In-Prison training program. He’s quirky and full of bouncy energy—he’ll look to you for inclusion in every family outing. Oliver thrives when there’s another friendly, playful dog around; he does best as part of a dynamic duo, not as the only pet. While he’s smart and eager, he needs a secure, fenced yard so he can blaze around safely and burn off his working-dog energy. This dog’s got a big personality—sometimes goofy, sometimes willful, always affectionate. It’s not unusual for him to get a little possessive about his things, but he’s made real progress on that front. When the world feels too much, Oliver prefers to relax in his crate or hide out in his favorite spot for downtime. He loves other dogs, gets along with cats, but isn’t comfortable around kids or loud, unpredictable environments. For Oliver to shine, he’ll need an adult home, mature patience, and plenty of chances to run, play, and engage both mind and body. Patience during his first few weeks is key as he gets into the swing of a new place. While unique, Oliver’s not for everyone. But if you want a high-energy partner with real training under his belt and an outsized sense of humor, he’s the kind of dog who leaves an impression. Click apply to start the adoption process.
