About Iko
Meet Iko, an adorable and playful young Shepherd looking for his forever home! This sweet guy has long legs and big feet that sometimes contribute to his clumsy nature, but that only adds to his charm. Iko is a bit shy when encountering new situations, so a patient and loving adopter will help him thrive. In his foster home, Iko has shown he gets along wonderfully with other dogs, ranging from a small Chihuahua to a large Great Pyrenees, and heβs made a good playmate of another foster dog, though Topoβs high energy can be a bit overwhelming for him. Iko has also met a resident cat; heβs curious but respectful, not showing any signs of aggression. Currently enjoying life in a rural farm setting, he loves to watch the farm animals and relax in the yard. Iko sleeps in a crate at night and uses a chew toy, helping him feel content. He might whine when alone, but with time in a secure environment, he will definitely settle in and be an amazing companion. While he's getting used to the leash, he does wonderfully off-leash, sticking close to his foster mom. We think Iko will be an incredible addition to the right home, so if youβre ready for a commitment, consider applying today!
