Annie is a sweet, gentle little mini Goldendoodle who is learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. After retiring from a breeder, everything in life is still very new to her, so she will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Once she feels comfortable, Annie's soft and loving personality starts to shine through. She does best with another confident, social dog in the home to help teach her things like potty training, routines, and how to feel brave. Annie absolutely loves other dogs and does wonderfully with cats and older kids too. Because so many things still scare her, a securely fenced yard is required. Leash walking is very difficult for her right now, and her foster currently doesn't have a fence and has to carry her in and out of the house. Potty training has also been a work in progress, but Annie has started making improvements over the last few days. She's trying, and with consistency, patience, and another dog to guide her, she will continue to gain confidence. Annie is looking for a calm, understanding home that will let her move at her own pace and celebrate the little victories along the way.
