About Lewis
Lewis, or Lou as he's often called, is a large, golden-coated adult Golden Retriever looking for his new family in Crystal, MN. Lou thrives as the only dog in the home and needs a fenced yard to roam and play safely. He’s fantastic company for TV binges or lounging on the couch, but he’s also eager for walks or jogs with his person. People are Lou’s world, and he forms strong bonds with them. While he is potty trained and does well when left alone for short periods, he much prefers someone who isn’t away from home for long stretches. Lou gets along with children when properly introduced, though he might accidentally knock over little kids if not supervised. If you leave food out, expect some counter surfing—he can’t resist! Lou is described as the sweetest boy, and he’s ready to make someone’s home fuller and warmer. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
