Ajax is a year-old, Pit Bull mix weighing around 60 lbs who recently arrived at the shelter after being found on a local property. Upon intake, staff noted an injury to his neck that appeared to be from some type of previous incident, but despite not feeling his best, Ajax has remained incredibly sweet throughout it all. This handsome boy has quickly proven himself to be smart, affectionate, and well-mannered. He knows “sit,” takes treats gently, keeps a clean kennel, and happily does his potty business outside. Most of all, Ajax absolutely lights up around people and truly seems to enjoy being included and interacting with those around him. He has done well with most dogs he has met so far. During a walk through the cat room, Ajax showed some interest, though considering the cat room smells like a gourmet buffet of food and activity, we plan to continue evaluating him further. Ajax is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm tested, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
