Cooper
AvailableCooper is a young male medium Pit Bull mix located in Orange, VA. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Although not yet housetrained, he keeps his kennel tidy and is eager to learn. His short coat comes in a lovely yellow/tan color, and he's looking for a home where he can feel comfortable and thrive.
About Cooper
Cooper is a handsome young Pit Bull mix currently enrolled in the CoffeeWood Canines program. He weighs about 46 pounds, though he could use some more weight. This sweet boy arrived at the shelter as a stray with another dog, but sadly, nobody came to claim them. At first, Cooper can be a bit shy when meeting new people. However, once he settles down, his gentle nature shines through. He keeps his kennel tidy and already knows that bathroom breaks belong outside, which is a great start. Cooper has done well around other dogs and might benefit from having a confident canine companion to help him adjust to a new home. He briefly visited the cat room; however, the atmosphere was overwhelming for him, so further introductions will be needed to gauge his feelings about feline friends. One of Cooper's most striking features is his captivating eyes. They seem almost blue at first glance but shift colors in different lighting — a special charm that photos just can't capture. Cooper is neutered, heartworm tested, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly preventatives. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
