Nami is a young, purebred Siberian Husky with striking blue eyes, currently located in Grand Rapids, MI. She has high energy and a playful personality that really comes out after she warms up. At night, she does well in her crate, and she’s still working on mastering potty training. Commands come easy for her—especially in Spanish, where she already knows how to sit and shake hands. Nami tends to be a bit timid around other dogs in the home if they aren’t welcoming, but she happily plays with neighboring dogs through the fence. When it comes to cats, she likes to give chase, but her approach is friendly rather than aggressive. With younger children, her play can get boisterous, so she would fit best in a household with older kids who can handle her spirited nature. She’s learning leash manners and, in true Husky fashion, often jumps around in excitement when heading out. Her background involves a lot of change, but she’s looking for a steady home with adopters who have patience as she continues to learn. Nami is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will go home microchipped.
