Goose is a 2-year-old Husky mix with a gentle soul and a big heart. He comes from a unique background—rescued along with nearly 30 other Huskies from a hoarding situation in Holland, Michigan—where he and his siblings lived together until their owner passed away. Despite his beginnings, Goose doesn't fit the usual profile of a traumatized 'hoarding case' dog. He’s surprisingly sweet, well-mannered, crate trained, and already knows some basic commands. Potty training is coming along, but like any dog in transition, patience with a few accidents is wise. Goose is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, neutered, and currently heartworm negative with preventatives in place. He does well with other dogs and gets along with children, though he is skittish and would do best in a quieter household with kids 10 years or older.
