Meet Hazel! Hazel has been a bit nervous at first, but with a little time and gentle encouragement, her warm, loving personality starts to shine. Hazel enjoys attention, knows "sit," and takes treats politely. She can be both mellow and playful once she feels comfortable. She’s still building confidence, so she’ll do best with a patient family who can help her settle in at her own pace. Hazel has met another dog politely and may enjoy a canine friend with the right match. Hazel is ready for a fresh start, a cozy home, and people who will cheer her on as she blossoms. This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
