Meet Ruby! Ruby is a sensitive young girl who’s still learning to feel safe and confident. She can be shy at first, but with patient, calm people she begins to open up—and once she does, she shows her sweet side, even enjoying lap time. Ruby prefers slow introductions and needs a home that will let her settle in at her own pace. She’s curious about toys, gently carrying them around and making little collections, and she handles mealtime and handling well. Ruby can be enthusiastic when meeting other dogs, so a dog-to-dog meet is recommended, along with continued socialization and training. Ruby has a tender heart and so much potential. With kindness and understanding, she’ll blossom in a caring home. This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
