🐾 Meet J.J. 🐾 J.J. is a small Chihuahua who recently made his way to us from one of our Texas rescue partners and is just beginning his next chapter. Right now, J.J. is settling in, decompressing, and getting used to his new surroundings while we get to know his personality, preferences, and all the little things that make him special. As we learn more about J.J., we’ll continue to share updates about how he does with people, other dogs, and daily life in foster care. For now, we’re giving this little guy time to relax and adjust while he starts his journey toward finding a loving forever home. ❤️ More information coming soon! Basics: He is a neutered male guessed to be around 3 yrs old and weighs close to 10lbs. He is currently in a foster home in Kansas City, MO and lives with 5 other small dogs and a 7yr old boy Adoption Process: - STEP 1: Please fill out our adoption application: https://www.dayofthedogs.org/adoption-application - One of our team members will get back to you via phone. - Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding - Adoption fee helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip. -We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available. About Day of the Dogs Day of the Dogs is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping shelter and rescue dogs find safety, families, and second chances. Founded in 2015 by Kansas City native Pam Siedler, Day of the Dogs began after Pam moved to Houston, Texas and witnessed firsthand the devastating shelter overcrowding crisis facing southern communities, where some shelters have only days to find an outcome for homeless pets.
