🐾 Meet Solo 🐾 Solo is a small Chihuahua who recently made his way to us from Texas and is just beginning his next chapter. Right now, Solo is settling in and giving us time to learn more about his personality, likes, and all the little things that make him special. As we get to know him better, we’ll continue sharing updates. For now, we know one thing for certain — this little guy deserves a loving home where he can feel safe, loved, and part of a family. Stay tuned for more information on Solo as he settles into foster care. ❤️🐾 Basics: He is a neutered male guessed to be around 3 yrs old and weighs close to 9lbs. He is currently in a foster home in Kansas City, MO with 5 other small dogs and a 7 yr old boy. Adoption Process: - STEP 1: Please fill out our adoption application: https://www.dayofthedogs.org/adoption-application - One of our team members will get back to you via phone. - Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding - Adoption fee helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip. -We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available. About Day of the Dogs Day of the Dogs is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping shelter and rescue dogs find safety, families, and second chances.
