He is a tender, affectionate soul who loves to snuggle and stay close to the people he bonds with. Once he feels safe, he becomes deeply loyal and seeks out companionship. He enjoys calm voices, soft hands, and cozy spaces where he can relax without worry. His past injuries mean his back leg doesn't work very well, so he sometimes needs a little boost or steady support. Hard floors are difficult for him, but he navigates carpeted areas when he has a clear path. He takes daily supplements to keep him comfortable, and because he tested positive for heartworm, he will need lifelong heartworm management. Despite these needs, he is stable, happy, and full of love to give. He would thrive in a home with someone who can offer soft flooring, a bit of physical help when needed, and a commitment to his ongoing care.
