About Rhino
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Rhino – the pocket-sized rhinoceros with a heart as big as his personality! If you've ever wished for your own baby rhino (minus the wild animal part), Rhino is your perfect companion. As a pocket bully mix just under 12 inches tall and weighing 37 lbs, he could easily be mistaken for a tiny prehistoric charger. His stance, legendary zoomies, and unmatched determination make him a true original, overflowing with love for his humans. Rhino faces severe congenital musculoskeletal abnormalities and walks on his front carpal joints, but that doesn’t slow down his zest for life or his resilience. His “watch me do it anyway” attitude is heartwarming and inspiring. He is the ultimate Velcro dog, happiest glued to your side and supervising every aspect of your day. Rhino thrives with a homebody who can support his need for companionship, especially as he is working through some separation anxiety. He gets along fantastically with dogs of all sizes—preferring calm canine friends over rambunctious ones—and would do best in a household without young children. With other dogs, Rhino prefers coexisting over rough play, though he does enjoy playtime with his favorite humans. While he currently wears a belly band, he’s working hard on potty training and getting better each day. Rhino needs a loving home ideally with few or no stairs, as well as someone patient and compassionate who can help lift and encourage him as needed. His incredible spirit and unwavering affection prove that being built differently doesn’t define you. Born January 22, Rhino is an Aquarius—known for their independence and unique outlook on life. Rhino is truly a one-of-a-kind soul dog ready to charge straight into your heart and be the loyal companion you’ve been searching for. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
