Roy arrived at TJO with multiple wounds from fighting — a classic example of what can happen to a free-roaming, intact kitty. Lucky for Roy, TJO embraces these WUO (Wounds of Unknown Origin) kitties and gives them the chance they deserve to heal and thrive. When Roy first arrived, he was frightened and untrusting. He spent much of his time hiding and would hiss when staff cared for him. But with patience, kindness, and time, Roy slowly began to realize he was safe. Today, Roy has blossomed into a loving kitty with the most amazing head butts. Once he trusts you, he happily seeks out affection and companionship. Roy is looking for a patient family willing to give him the time he needs to settle in and continue building confidence. In return, he will reward you with love, loyalty, and plenty of sweet head bumps. OTHER PETS: We expect Roy to be OK by himself or with another sweet, gentle kitty.
