Meet Tuna! This handsome stray is ready to trade life on the streets for a cozy home and plenty of attention. Tuna is a very vocal boy who isn't shy about telling you when he wants pets, affection, or company. If you're looking for a cat who will happily chat with you throughout the day, Tuna may be your perfect match. Tuna has been sweet and attention-seeking with people, and he loves soaking up pets from anyone willing to stop by and say hello. He should settle well into most homes as long as adopters give him time to adjust and provide slow introductions to any resident pets. Ready To Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. (Cats in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the cat first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a cat for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org.
