About Jonsie

Jonsie is super happy that TJO does SNR! What’s that, you ask? Shelter Neuter Return! SNR differs from TNR because kitties can stay at the shelter for a while so staff can determine if they are truly feral or simply scared and unsure of people. When Jonsie arrived, he was dirty and looked defeated. Now he has cleaned himself up nicely and keeps his head held high. He welcomes pets and attention and has quickly decided that people are actually pretty great. Jonsie would much rather trade in the scary outdoor life for a safe, cozy home indoors. He has been learning to trust more each day and is ready to find a family of his own. With patience, love, and a comfy spot to nap, Jonsie is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. OTHER PETS: We think Jonsie will be OK by himself or with a kitty friend or two. OWNER EXPERIENCE: Jonsie's adopter should have experience with kitties. KIDS: Jonsie is best suited for a quiet, adult only home. ACTIVITY LEVEL:Jonsie is currently a couch potato, we would not be surprise if he became more playful as he settles in. VETERINARY CARE: Jonsie is looking forward to meeting his new vet and receiving on-going vet care. LEVEL OF SOCIALIZATION: Jonsie's new family must be patient as he learns to trust again. GROOMING: Jonsie takes very good care of his handsome coat.
