About Electra
Electra is the kind of BS youâll want in your lifeâa scruffy, zooming, absolutely bonkers mix of little-dog-cuteness and big-dog-terrier energy. She came in frozen, glued to the back of her kennel, shut down with fear after being abandoned at about 7 or 8 months old. Give her a safe space and the right dog friends, though, and her real self comes flying out: all rough-and-tumble wrestling, leaping, and a hilarious energy that can barely be contained. She learns fast, is working on crate training and housebreaking, and although she can pull a good sad-puppy act, the truth is sheâs just waiting for her next chance to launch herself into play. Youâll notice her immediately by her wiry, always-messy coat (do not even think about shaving her scruffy whiskers or killer mohawk), and at only about 15 lbs, sheâs not getting much biggerâmaybe just a little stockier. She sheds but only needs regular brushing, and regular grooming isnât needed. Electra isnât a dog for wallflowers. Sheâll bark at strangers at first but can be won over with treats, and once youâre in her circle, youâre in for life (and for all the wild zoomies). She is dog-friendly and really shines with positive socialization and a patient adopter. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Electra
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Electra's mixed Jack Russell Terrier and Brussels Griffon background means she thrives in environments where she gets plenty of attention and stimulation. A home with space to play and patient adopters will suit her best.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Electraâs high energy and playful personality mean she benefits from regular access to a yard or frequent outdoor walks. Even a small yard works if she gets her exercise.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Jack Russell Terriers and Brussels Griffons can do well with children, especially if the kids respect boundaries. Because Electra is still young and playful, a home with respectful kids would be a good fit.
