MEET MILO! This beautiful young tiger boy was surrendered to the shelter for not getting along with the other cats. Well, no surprise there, as he was not neutered! But he IS neutered now, and he is a very sweet, affectionate, and happy young cat… as long as other cats are not nosing around him! And though he’s not happy about the other adult cats at the shelter, he is a very young boy and will probably accept having a kitten added to his home at some point, once he’s established in the home and knows he’s the “alpha.” Kittens are very submissive and unthreatening to older cats, so it’s very likely he will one day welcome a small buddy cat into his life. He likes all people he’s met in his short time at the shelter, and will do well in homes with people of any age, including young children. We’re not sure how he feels about dogs, don’t really know if he’s ever had any exposure to them — cats like Milo often do very well with dogs, but then again, he might hate them! If you have a dog and are interested, let us know and we’ll see how he responds to a shelter dog. Milo is 2 years old, is neutered, box-trained, current on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and received de-wormers and flea treatments. Adoption fee is $125. Personal checks are accepted from R.I. residents only; all others may pay by credit/debit card or money order, payable to “Town of Scituate.” No cash is accepted.
