Darling Domino! She too came to us from a complicated 17 cat neglect situation, and is one of the favorites of our person who has been socializing them (who may also be writing this bio..). She starts out as nervous - heck, who wouldn't! She's met only a few people throughout her life. But once you get in there and pet her.. oh boy, she's all in. Purrs and wanting more. But that initial meeting and first couple of days? She needs you to take it slow. Don't worry, she's very gentle. Domino would do best with one of the other 17 cats she's been living with OR another friendly cat at home that can help ease her in to the good life. We think she's going to absolutely thrive with someone who truly loves her. -- Every PALS cat and kitten has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is up-to-date on vaccinations. A note about kittens: if you are adopting a kitten, they may need to complete their FVRCP (distemper) series and may not be old enough for their rabies vaccination. These essential vaccines will be the responsibility of their new owner. Detailed vet records and a calendar of vaccination due dates will be provided. The PALS Adoption Center, located inside PetSmart at 10 Traders Way in Salem, MA (just off Highland Ave/Rte 107) BY APPOINTMENT ONLY TO APPROVED ADOPTERS. Adoption applications can be found online at www.palscats.org. A completed application is not necessarily an approved application. We do ask for written landlord approval if you rent, or proof of home ownership (water bill, etc.) We will also check your vet references. You will be contacted by our adoption staff once your application has been approved. Please note it can take up to 48 hours.
