Join us at Merriam Petsmart and meet your perfect match. We’ll have DOGS, PUPPIES & KITTIES ready to steal your heart! SATURDAY, MAY 16 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes! ——————— CATHERINE is a beautiful girl and such a sweetie! She is just 10 months old, so still just a pup and she loves to run and play. Catherine is just a little bit timid...but that all changes when she has a doggie friend! She immediately perks up and is just so excited to have a playmate. She becomes so much more confident and trusting-- she just shines! Catherine came in with 3 other dogs and is used to having her doggie buddies around, so she'd like to find a home with another canine companion to share her life with. Catherine weighs 54 lbs. ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
