Zeus is one of the most handsome and happiest boys in the whole USA! Zeus is a 54 lb, 2 year old terrier mix and he is oozing joy with his wiggling body. We even had a trainer visit us recently to work with several other dogs and Zeus caught his attention!! He said "that is one happy dog"! Zeus had a family and we know he was loved in the past but no one came to bring him home when he came to us as a dog at large recently. 😔 There is a different heartbreak when a dog loses their home & family as their confusion and loss is deep at the shelter. The reality is that many of the dogs we care for have their best life ever being taken care of by staff and volunteers. There isn't a day that each dog living at the shelter doesn't feel how deeply we care for them. For many of them, this is the first time they have truly felt love and a experienced a soft touch. Zeus is a GREAT dog. He doesn't soil in his kennel with regular outings so he should quickly acclimate to being house trained. He is great on a leash. He is not reactive to other dogs. Zeus will need a secured fenced yard as he can be an escape artist.
