About Oso

Oso is really struggling with the loneliness of shelter life. While volunteers and staff keep him company when they can, the time isn't enough for a dog who loves people this much. At three years old, Oso is a large terrier mix with a short, white and cream bicolor coat. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, and absolutely house trained. Crate training? Check. Leash walks? He’s a fan. Snuggles? Nobody does it better. Oso thrives in a home with structure—he picked up a lot from his prior foster's training sessions, and his new family should be ready to continue that guidance. He’s strong, enjoys “mouthy” play (in a gentle, corn-on-the-cob sort of way), and older kids would be the best match for his play style. Oso has only been an only dog and prefers it that way—he’s truly happiest as the solo pet in your home. If you want a loyal, loving shadow who wants nothing more than to be your companion, Oso is ready to be that dog. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
