AvailableMoses is a 10-year-old, large terrier mix with a short white, cream, and black coat. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and currently located in Waverly, TN. About Moses
Moses is looking for a hospice foster or a permanent home where he can spend his final year or two surrounded by love. He’s a 10-year-old terrier mix with white, cream, and black coloring, weighing about 59 lbs. He recently had melanoma removed, but unfortunately new deep belly masses, likely more melanoma, have appeared. Due to advanced heartworms, further surgery isn’t safe, so he’s being treated with the slow-kill method and the expectation is he may have 1 to 2 years left. Despite his medical challenges, Moses is incredibly gentle and affectionate. He soaks up one-on-one attention and would cuddle on the couch all day if you let him. Moses is happiest on a walk or sunbathing, enjoying treats, and the simple comforts of a kind word or soft touch. While he lost his home, his family, and even his long-time canine buddy in a short span, he still gets along well with other dogs and hasn’t soiled his kennel—he’s likely to settle into house training quickly. Moses needs a stable, quiet home filled with warmth where someone will remind him he’s treasured every day. He deserves a peaceful spot and someone who will offer those small comforts that matter most to him. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Questions about Moses
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Moses, as a terrier mix, does well in a quiet home with comfortable spaces and a gentle routine. He’ll appreciate a calm environment, especially as a senior with medical needs.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
As a large terrier mix, Moses enjoys regular walks and time in the sun, but doesn’t require a big yard. Short outdoor breaks and a cozy spot indoors suit him fine, especially given his health.
