Meet Leo! Leo is a delightful almost 5-year-old French Bulldog who's learned that life can still be wonderful even when things don't go as planned. After experiencing paralysis in his back end due to IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), Leo was fortunate to find his way to Paws New England. His previous owner opted out of treatment, but a caring vet tech recognized his potential and reached out to us. Since joining his new foster family, Leo has made remarkable progress. Equipped with a properly fitted wheelchair, he’s now zooming around and enjoying life like he was born to do it. Despite his physical challenges, Leo’s spirit shines bright. He’s goofy, affectionate, and loves to be around people and other dogs. Whether it’s car rides or walks, he doesn’t let anything hold him back. Leo does need help with his bladder a few times a day, but it’s a manageable routine that his new family can easily adopt. He wears a belly band indoors, which helps prevent any leaks. Leo is a true testament to resilience; he shows that happiness isn't defined by physical limitations.
