Meet Melo! Melo is a happy, wiggly social butterfly who loves meeting new people. He’s easy to leash, walks well, and greets everyone with a relaxed body and a wagging tail. Melo adores attention and isn’t shy about asking for more with enthusiastic jumps and gentle nudges. Melo has shown some big feelings toward a few dogs and can become excited during play, so he’ll need to meet any potential dog siblings and may do best as the only dog. Overall, Melo is a fun, affectionate companion who brings big smiles and lots of heart. This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
