Hubba Hubba! Dogs don't get much more handsome than Doob! This 1.5 year old fellow was found as a stray and never claimed, so we don't have much background on him. What we do know? He is 90-pounds of pure, labby love! He enjoys walks, sniffing, and playtime in the pen. He doesn't seem to know many commands, but maybe we just haven't asked nicely enough! He can get a little jumpy when he is excited, so he would do best in a home with older children. Looking for a buddy to share life's adventures with? Doob's your guy! He is a true lab-lover's dream! We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
