One of his favorite things is spending time outside, happily romping around the yard with his canine friends. With a medium energy level and nice disposition, he will fit into just about any home ready for a puppy. Malachite has never met a stranger and is friendly with everyone he encounters, both human and canine. He has not been around cats yet, but would likely get along with them too. Malachite is highly food-motivated and will come running the moment he hears the treat jar open. He especially enjoys chewing on yak chews and Nylabones, and loves playing tug or chasing after a ball. After some playtime, he's just as happy to settle in for a cozy nap. He is currently learning commands like “sit,” “outside,” and “crate,” and is making good progress with his leash walking skills. Malachite is mostly house trained but may have an occasional accidents if he isn't let out regularly. He is mostly crate trained and settles down quickly, especially if he has a soft blanket to curl up on. Malachite will make a wonderful companion for a lucky family.
