Buck is a big, lab-mix fellow who came in when his owner could no longer care for him. He weighs in at 84-pounds and is around 4.5 years old. Despite his size, he walks pretty nicely on leash and is generally a chill guy! He loves his walks but also enjoys taking naps and laying in the sun. He has lived with a child and another dog, but would likely not do great with cats. He came in with Bonnie (to be listed soon), but does not have to go home with her. We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
